Windshield replacement
When the damage is too big to repair, the old windshield comes out and a new one goes in. Tell us your vehicle and we'll give you a price.
When a windshield needs replacing
A repair isn't always enough. Replacement is usually the answer when:
- The crack is long, or it's still growing
- The damage sits in the driver's line of sight
- A crack runs to the edge of the glass
- There are several chips or cracks in the same windshield
- The damage is in front of a camera or sensor
If your vehicle has a safety camera
Many newer vehicles have a camera behind the windshield for lane assist and automatic braking. It needs recalibrating after the glass is replaced. We do camera recalibration too.
Have this ready when you call
It helps us match the right glass to your vehicle the first time.
- Year, make and model
- Your VIN if it's handy (on the dash by the driver's side, or on your insurance card)
- Any windshield features: rain sensor, lane camera, heated wipers, heads-up display
- A photo of the damage
